The finalists were then chosen by the public, with one winner from each city. NYC¡¯s winner was Gabrielle Serrano, who created this ¡°La Mezclaaa??colorway. Spanish for ¡°mixture,aa??the ¡°La Mezclaaa??Air Max 98 features a gradient upper from black to brown to white inspired by the diversity of New York City. The colors represent the full spectrum of skin colors you¡¯ll find in the city, while the crackled leather paneling represents the ¡°concrete jungle.aa??Green and blue accents represent the Statue of Liberty and the water surrounding the city, respectively.
