The Air Jordan 1 Mid Dia de los Muertos is a special colorway of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe dedicated to the traditional Mexican holiday. Part of Nike’s Fall 2020 Dia de los Muertos collection, the mid-top version of the retro basketball and lifestyle shoe features a family-inspired design consisting of colors found in traditional floral ofrendas (also known as altars) that are displayed during the holiday to commemorate the lives of those who have transitioned. White leather appears on the perforated toe and the mid-panel. Jordan Brand contrasts the neutral base with fuchsia leather detailing on the forefoot, eyelets, collar, and mid-panel. The cracked yellow Swoosh and collar provide a personalized touch. The Dia de los Muertos features a heritage inspired gold nylon tongue tag and Familia embroidery on the forefoot.
