The Nike Air Force 1 Mid ¡°Izakayaa€?is a unique colorway that nods to Japanese Izakaya culture. An August 2022 release, the ¡°Izakayaa€?is inspired by the popular Japanese bar that serves small dishes and alcoholic beverages for the after-work crowd. The shoe features a receipt embellishment on the tongue. Instead of containing items commonly found in Izakaya restaurants, the receipt details a timeline of the Air Force 1¡¯s history. The upper is complete with a tan canvas base and beige leather overlays. A black textile Swoosh appears on either side of the shoe and a red embroidered star with a black Swoosh logo is found on the lateral side of the heel. Anime-inspired characters on the heel complete the look.
