The Nike Air Max 1 ¡°Susanaa??is a very special edition of the iconic Air Max model created to celebrate the animated film ¡°Missing Linkaa??from Laika Studios, whose CEO, Travis Knight, is the son of Nike founder Phil Knight. The unique colorway and construction is inspired by the film¡¯s main character Mr. Link and his plaid outfit. Mr. Link¡¯s plaid suit and green vest are replicated on the upper of the Air Max 1 with hairy tan suede and white canvas detailing. The midsole is covered in brown leather for a premium effect, while the gum rubber outsole completes the color scheme. Mr. Link¡¯s ¡°cuff linksaa??are replicated on the top lace eyelets. ¡°Maxaa??from the Air Max branding on the tongue is scratched out and replaced with ¡°Susanaa??as a reference to the story of the film. The limited edition Nike Air Max 1 ¡°Susanaa??released on the same day as the film, April 12, 2019.
