The Women¡¯s Air Jordan 5 ¡°Mars for Her¡± is a women¡¯s-exclusive colorway of Michael Jordan¡¯s fifth signature shoe that is loosely inspired by the Jordan 5¡¯s ¡°Raging Bull¡± style as well as Mars Blackmon, the sneaker-obsessed character played by Spike Lee in early commercials for the shoe. The ¡°Mars for Her¡± features a Martian Sunrise-colored suede construction with translucent netting on both the tongue and mid-panel. Tonal ¡°23¡± branding is embroidered on the lateral side of the heel. The number is a reference to the Player Exclusive Jordan 5 worn by Jordan with the Chicago Bulls in the NBA. A black Jumpman is found on the heel and on the reflective tongue. Overall, the Women¡¯s Air Jordan 5 ¡°Mars for Her¡± definitely has a strong vibe inspired by Mars, the Red Planet.
